Special charm ‘ note 20

I am playing on a mobile device/ipad. I obtained the secret note 20 and tried to obtain the charm that day. It did not work and I can’t get the driver to talk to me at all. I have looked at walkthroughs on you tube and I think I am doing it right. Any suggestions?

Just a quick question -- did you actually click and read the note?

If not, it doesn't count as "found".

yes, I read it while in the skull cavern. I didn‘t keep it. Will I get it again?
