Dear GameCreator,
We are a group of enthusiastic players who deeply love your game. With great anticipation for the upcoming new version, we would like to share some sincere suggestions based on our long-term gaming experience, hoping to make the game more enjoyable and balanced. Below are our specific proposals:
Regarding the Dehydrator: Its current usability is rather awkward. It neither preserves the quality grades of fruits and mushrooms nor allows inserting five items of different quality grades (either fruits or mushrooms). We sincerely hope that it can retain the quality grades of the input items when processing fruits and mushrooms in the new version.
Regarding the Auto-Petter: It is extremely valuable and practical, but it has been really difficult to obtain in previous versions. Moreover, the difficulty of acquiring this item differs drastically between the two progression paths—Community Center and Joja. We all hope that more acquisition channels for the Auto-Petter will be added in the new version.
Regarding Special Quests: Why can’t we add a "Refresh Quests" option? This option would allow players to refresh the week’s Special Quests by using some gold or Qi Gems. In previous versions, it was common to get repeated quests many times in a row, making it impossible to obtain important quests in a timely manner (e.g., "Island Ingredients," "Danger in the Deep," "Skull Cavern Invasion"). We believe this adjustment will greatly improve the playability of the quest system.
Regarding "Radioactive Ore": This mineral is extremely valuable. It is very useful, yet it is excessively difficult to obtain and has an extremely high demand. We suggest increasing its acquisition quantity in the regular mines to better meet players’ in-game needs.Regarding the Hopper: It is excessively expensive and becomes available too late in the game. However, its actual performance is not very satisfactory. Therefore, we can add one of the following two features to it: 1) Automatically take out processed items; 2) Expand its range from feeding only the immediately preceding processing machine to feeding the next ten adjacent processing machines.
We understand that game development requires careful consideration and extensive testing, and these suggestions are purely based on our love for the game. We sincerely hope that you can take our opinions into account during the development of the new version.
Thank you for your hard work in creating such an excellent game. We are looking forward to the wonderful surprises brought by the new version and will continue to support your work!
Best regards,
Passionate Players of Stardew Valley
