Please, bear with me, and apologies in advance in my question has an obvious answer that I’m somehow just not seeing. ^^;

I currently have a massive project underway, which is a dialogue overhaul and story mod. I am right now working on the dialogue portion. While I have been reading the modding pages of the Stardew Valley Wiki, and looking at the dialogue json files of other dialogue mods, there are still things I’m struggling with to understand. Also, I’m doing this for CP, since I am by no means comfortable with going into the actual base game files, out of concern that I might accidentally mess something up. So I have not looked at the actual base game files themselves.

Question Concerning Spouse dialogue:
On the mod wiki page, it reads: “Daily dialogue in the farmhouse after 6pm when it's not raining. <random> is a number between 0–4 inclusively or the NPC name, each of which has an equal chance of being randomly chosen. If the game chooses a <random> value that doesn't have a dialogue, it'll use the default text instead.” Now, I understand to it needs to be typed out as "Indoor_Day_0":, "Indoor_Day_1":, etc., but I am confused about the ‘0-4’ mentioned on the wiki page. Can there only be that many dialogue options? What’s throwing me off is because I have seen dialogue mods that go past "Indoor_Day_4". If it can go past, how many can it go past (same question for the other dialogue types: outdoor, rainy, onekid, twokids, etc.)?

- How does it work between the Indoor/Outdoor/Rainy dialogue and the Bad/Neutral and Good dialogue? I understand the heart levels and percentage that affects the Bad/Neutral and Good dialogue. Does it randomly interchange with the indoor and such dialogue? Or does it go through all of the indoor and such dialogue first, before then going to the Bad/Neutral and Good dialogue?

- I am a bit confused about the Outdoor_<spouse> (I know the name of the spouse is inserted) and the Outdoor_<random> (I know the number key is inserted) dialogue options. Is the Outdoor_<spouse> just for if there’s a multiple spouses mod being used? I’m just a bit confused about any other purpose for it, for if you’re not using multiple spouses mod, and just have the one spouse, why not just use the Outdoor_<random> option?
