[Solved] Help!!!!! trying to play with my wife!!!

I am trying to play online with my wife we both have pcs and we both have the game and we are trying to play online with each other but i dont know how to get her into my farm???? please help

Do you have a cabin on your farm, and did you load the game in multiplayer mode?

i do have a cabin and yes i did load the game in multiplayer mode but it would not let her join.

i did not give me any option to invite her. when i go to the options and go down to where it says Multiplayer it only says START LOCAL CO_OP. I cant add her from steam

First, if you're trying to play together, there are two ways to do so. One is through the platform you bought the game on, and the second is local co-op.

For the first, you have to make sure that both of you are logged into that service. (Like if you bought it through GOG, you gotta load up that client, not just the game.)

For the second, you need to know your LAN IP, and Googling "what's my lan ip" will give you quick and easy steps for figuring that out. (This is generally the better way to do things as you're keeping things local instead of going out to GOG's or Steam's servers and back.) Then the person joining the game clicks the "Join LAN Game" button, enters your LAN IP, and boom! You should be ready to go.

If you're looking at the settings in your game after loading it, if the "start local co-op" option isn't clicked, I'm not sure she can join. You may wish to try that if what I've already said doesn't work.
