SMAPI installer opens, then immediately closes

If I open the smapi windows installer this normally happens but if I open it with administrator permissions this message appears:

the smapi player guide didn't help (Modding:Player Guide/Troubleshooting - Stardew Valley Wiki )

This may not be of any use to you, but I've experienced a similar issue when I attempted to interact with the BAT-File with it placed in a series of folders (one was coincidentally named Stardew) and again inside of folders that used certain special-characters.

So, I then moved the 'SMAPI number.number.number Installer' folder to the 'This PC > Documents' location and it began to function correctly.
