Small coop to big coop dinosaur egg

I got a dinosaur egg from fishing and I want to hatch it but I don’t know if I have to get 4 coops to upgrade it to a big coop. I got a coop and it doesn’t give me an option to upgrade it. Also if I put animals in the coop but later upgrade does it still allow a dinosaur egg

Yes, any coop with an incubator can hatch any type of egg.

when you go to Robin, select „farm buildings“, then use the arrow keys below the coop to navigate to other buildings. If you have a coop on your farm, the option for big coop should appear. You don’t need more than one coop.

You don't need to have any additional coops to get a large coop, just the one you have and the money/resources to request robin to make an upgrade (10,000g, 400 wood, 150 stone for coop --> big coop)
