Slingshot use

I am playing on an ipad. And for the life of me I cannot figure out how to use the slingshot. It’s loaded with rocks. I click in the slingshot and then click on the target. But nothing happens. What am I missing?

To aim the slingshot, you draw back. With the slingshot equipped, you touch and drag, in the opposite direction you want to fire. A little red aiming sight will show up to indicate the direction you'll fire. To shoot you release.

You have to click the character and drag from there, the slignshot will shoot the opposite way you drag (much how you shoot an actual slingshot)

You can also use the buttons setting to try and shoot it but it's pretty much entirely broken and only allows you to shoot in a couple restricted angles above the character
