Skipping season

Playing on Switch and system skipped full season on our Co-op. Is there an issue?

Did the skipping happen during a play session, or did you finish playing one day and came back the next to a new season?

In the second case, I would guess the host left the game running. If there's nothing to ship, the game just progresses to the next day until it's turned off.

I've seen this happen to people, most recently Giant Octopodes, where they missed an entire season after accidentally leaving the game unpaused and unattended for an extended period of time. That is an absolute nightmare. It is honestly one of the scariest things that could happen to me in the game, and fortunately, Octopodes was able to fix it by save file editing. I don't think I would have that kind of expertise though. Good luck with it Butterfly. (Or is it Bambi? Darn it, now I'm doubting myself.)
