I think it would be awesome if you could assign your husband/wife and children to help you with things around the farm. Or maybe adding farm hands or adventures for hire to the guild. It could give the cottages a use for single players.

Like in a level 2 house go to fridge and post on one of two things to do
You need a level 2 house to marry anyway
