silly problem with hairstyle

Hi! This is my first hairstyle mod and it works fine except there's this detail I don't know how to fix:

This is the new hairsyle I added but I noticed the skin base doesn't show its natural shadow on the forehead.

This is one of the default hairstyles. That pinkish tone is what I'm refering to.

What am I doing wrong? Here's what the mod files look like:
