Switch Silly Item stack overflow bug, on switch

I've run into this bug twice now, and though I couldn't figure out what triggered it the first time, I may have an idea now.

Bug:
Item amounts seem to be stack overflowing to 999 or another large number. This is only happened with items that have come from crab pots so far, specifically Soggy Newspaper, Broken Glasses, and Snails. Both instances appear to have happened when inserting an item into a recycler. Well I can't confirm the first one with the Soggy Newspaper/Snails, when I inserted the second of two Broken Glasses into a recycler, instead of hitting zero, and removing the broken glasses from my inventory, the amount was set to 127.

Speculation:
This only started happening in year three, after I obtained the fishing mastery that removes the need for bait in crab pots. It might also be pulling an item ID number from one of the other inventory slots, and reading that as the amount number, though I don't know the ID numbers well enough to confirm that suspicion. And, if it helps, both instances of amount modification happened in backpack rows 2 and 3.

Side note: all amounts of coffee beans, coffee, and triple shot expresso are actually accurate, and were unmodified. I just usually spend a year or two stocking up.

I agree with most of this but I didn’t have the pot mastery when I encountered the glitch so that might not be part of it. :junicheer: :hlevel:

Do use this though!! You can drop it on the ground twice for the iridium secret trophy achievement for getting 1000 items at once. (It doesn’t do anything nor is it an actual achievement but it looks cool in chat lol)
