Question Should I change "MinimumApiVersion" in manifest?

After I created my mod, smapi has got update. I installed the update now, and I'm not sure if I should change the "MinimumApiVersion" in the manifest of the mod, or leave it as it is.

If your mod uses the new resources, then you should. Otherwise I don't think it makes a difference
