Secret Notes- Too many

For some weird reason I have been getting secret notes a whole lot. It first stared on level 83 in the mines, on my first year. I got one secret note, then another, and another... I have almost gotten all of them now because I mine a lot.
Can anybody explain?? I'm confuzzled.

I'm really disappointed that once you get the magnifying glass, you seem to get secret notes way too frequently. I pretty much found them all within three to four in-game days. They should be much rarer!

You need to unlock the magnifying glass before you find any.

I don't think you unlock them too quick as most don't result in much. I just wish there was more!
I love going on some of the random adventures they send you on.

they seemed about as common as the books were for me. i think 1.4 actually did make some secret notes less common, but i could be wrong about that!

I read up on it and I haven't shaken the bush yet. Thats all I'm missing.

I play multiplayer with my nephew and he finds notes all the time. In my own solo farm AND our cooperative one I've never - found - a single - one of these things lol!

I agree, I think it's just the fact that if each note has like a 1% chance of dropping, that adds up to 21% chance for every rock when you first get the magnifying glass, then decreases as you find them. (Made up numbers used, I have no clue what the actual drop rate is)

I agree, I'm not a big computer person so I don't know how to make this work, but it would be awesome if there was some way to prevent the stacking of chance.
