Switch Secret Note #21 event does not update for winter outfits

The event for secret note #21 (Interacting with the bush by the bridge to the Beach at 12:40 am) doesn't update Marnie or Lewis's outfits to their winter variant, instead remaining their spring/summer/fall look. This was on the Switch version.

Apologies for no screenshots or save data, acquiring those from my switch is a huge hassle.
