Android Scythe doesn't harvest wild seed forages

I'm on Android 14. The iridium scythe is supposed to be able to harvest forageable from wild seeds but it doesn't work properly. The game doesn't let you swing the scythe near a forage crop regardless of whether it was grown from seeds or not. It only works if you stand 2 tiles away and swing in the general direction. It doesn't work when used on the forage itself.
Note: I'm talking about forage grown from seeds which are harvestable with iridium scythe.
