iOS Screen frozen and character not visible after loading up a save while inside somewhere

This has happened twice when I’ve loaded up a save after pressing ‘save backup’ and exiting out of the app, but it only seems to happen indoors like a cave. I’m only able to zoom in and out, and no buttons are visible nor is my character.

My build is v1.6.15 24354

I’m using iPadOS on iPad

English for language and single player, and I only use my fingers to control the screen by tapping.
