Issue save files got corrupted because of losing all the mod

I'm a PC player, and I heard the game is getting an update soon, so I want to replay it on my Mac. However, I don't want to play with mods this time, so I installed SMAPI successfully to enable saves, but I keep getting a black screen when I go to sleep. Is there any solution for this?
