Run through #2, Me: Sure Lewis 🤔 [Spoiler?]

Its funny how many dialogs were lost on me as a new player during my first run through... so much to do, explore, see, that I didn’t really pay attention to a lot. Am I the only one? Of course, now dialogs like this hit a person right in the forehead. All I can say now is, "Uh huh, sure Lewis, business needs, I see Marnie's floor there..." No wonder she's got such strange hours. I'm sure folks playing a while are well familiar with this, I figured I'd post for newer folks on their second runthrough like me.

On my first run through I got the purple shorts a lot earlier and the dialog popped much later, this time I neglected them and it paid off lol. Makes a much better screenshot for my collection.

PS. I spoilered this only because some are sensitive to revealing dialogs lol.

If you have already returned the parcel make sure to put a staircase in the pants slot. It's very comical to see the governor's reaction or getting disqualified from a certain event

My favorite piece of surprise dialogue was Abigail at the doctor’s. I won’t spoil it, but visit Harvey when the NPCs are in for their annual checkup. Some of that dialogue is funny.

Harvey should invest in locks.

My third playthrough I'm noticing early dialogues that I didn't pay attention to previously as well. A lot of the NPC's were really nasty in the beginning. Previously I worked really hard to earn their friendships. Lots of food dishes, gems and artisan goods were freely given out. This time though, I won't put their friendships as a priority and see how it plays out.

Yeah, I noticed a few were gruff and cranky to me too. Some in the valley are not all that friendly to new inhabitants. No wonder I avoided friending them for so long in my first game .

Same. Especially when you try giving them something you think is a nice gift and they reply rudely. I think that's how I ended up married to Elliot the first playthrough!

Notice how Lewis says EXACT SAME THING if you catch him at Clint's?

The man sure gets around!

Also, re rude villagers, for a very long time I thought I am NOT going to like this game because I'm TERRIBLE at people and it felt like grade school all over again, with me embarrassing myself and trying to give all the cool people cheese and seashells and they saying nasty things to me. Ugh.

Right now, even the Dwarf likes me better than Haley but I'm not going to go out of my way to change it. See if you like going absolutely cheeseless, you little blond bully!
