I understand that Eric Barone (ConcernedApe) recently released the 1.6 Stardew Update within the last 24 hours although I would like to suggest the ability to romance non-romanceable NPCs like Clint the blacksmith. The reason for this is because my significant other is a Pipe Welder and I would love to have the ability to marry Clint in-game without the use of mods. I propose allowing the player to "romance" non-romanceable NPCs by gradually courting the NPC into changing their perspectives about their relationship with the player; In other words... changing Clint's mind about Emily if Emily rejects Clint "softly" so that he doesn't continue to passively admire her from afar.

Just a suggestion that I would highly appreciate for vanilla gameplay. <3

I think other SINGLE players like Clint, Marnie, Gus, etc should be dateable and better fits for older people irl. But I don’t agree with splitting up existing couples/families. That’s just not fair to them.

We did have the older bachelor/bachelorette vote a few years ago, but I hope we have another one too  Maybe you could vote for Clint in it! We're in desperate need of older marriage candidates.
