Windows Robin's non-availability

I'm playing computer version 1.6.3. It's Year 1, Summer, Day 21, Sunday. Robin has been constructing a barn on the farm Saturday and Sunday. However, on Saturday, she has posted a notice in front of Pierre's asking for 25 Fresh stone (to be completed before Sunday close). Though the stone has been gathered, to complete the quest, the player has to talk to her. This is not possible since she's not available at shop or home during the time it's open nor can the player talk to her on the farm. This seems a little unfair.

I have re-played the day a couple of times to see if I can catch her leaving home or going back. It's not possible.

Yes, this is happens on occasion and it looks like the game code doesn't check to see if someone (Robin might be the only caught like this?) will be unavailable during the time of the Help Wanted board quest. And as you suspect, Robin shows up to build the Barn/Coop/Shed/Fish Pond/ and their upgrades immediately at 6pm and will work until 2am. In other words the game codes Robin to be there the entire day and therefore inaccessible. At least you can give things to her when she's working on House upgrades.
