Robin's always on the job

Yesterday, which was a Tuesday in my game, I happened to be standing by Robin's shop counter around 9:30 am. I had actually just left my character sitting there while I got a coffee reheat. When I sat down again she was just walking past. So I clicked to talk to her. She said she was on her way out but offered her services. Then a balloon window came up with all the things she offers in her shop. Just wanted to share in case anyone else didn't know this. If you're there at the right time you can do business with her, even on work out day.

Yes, that strategy even worked on previous versions even before you could sit down, just stand at the counter while Robin walks past and you could talk to her and order your buildings, etc. without waiting another day. C'mon! She's just taking the orders, the things are gonna be built starting the next day anyway and she'll have more to chat with the ladies about after the workout. Everyone wins! Even being open for, say, an hour on Tuesday morning would be nice, especially if Marnie was also open that day, so you'd have to prepare for whomever you needed to visit.

Or bring a Horse who's been spoonfed Pepper Poppers and Coffee and visit both! Trust me, Horses totally love it. Just look at how excited they are when they're on that stuff!

Of course once I'm off the Horse and onto doing something else, I can never find him again. Total coincidence, though.

Yep, you can order stuff from Robin any time she's near her desk, even if she's just walking past it. This also works in the evenings (including on days that aren't Tuesday) if she's walking back from the saloon or whatever, although you may need to wait in her house for a while or have a key to the town in order to get into her house late enough.

The key turns in the lock. Robin enters her home, she doesn't bother turning on the lights, as it's 11 and she's going straight to bed anyway. As she passes the counter of her shop, the farmer pops up seemingly out of nowhere.

"Hey, while you're here, about my barn..."

"S.. sure..." Robin stammers, "I'll get right on that". Her mind is racing with questions. How are they there? Wasn't the door locked? Were they stalking her? Hiding in her home? Did they have another way in? And most of all - why couldn't this wait until the morning?

She does her best to push it out of her mind as she continues heading to bed. Ah well, business is business, and she was looking to experiment with a new joint technique anyway...
