robin said i had an incubator in my update to the coop

that was fine and i didn't use it yet. now i have updated to the bigger coop and want to hatch a duck egg. the incubator is acting like it is working and i can't get the egg in there but i haven't put anything in it either. i can just buy a new duck but what do i do about the incubator?

Wait a few days and see what comes out! If the witch flew over you’ll get a void chick. Then you can put in your duck egg.

Maybe you were holding an egg when you clicked somewhere nearby and accidentally put it in. Just wait and see what hatches.
