Greenhorn
Please enable infinite combinations of rings and trinkets. If people wish to farm / work towards far better equipment, then where is the harm? Can't hurt the game since it is not an online multiplayer style game. Make costs go up with every combination, so eventually, people could have rings with all possible combinations, and recombining rings would all possible combinations would make a ring that combines the stats of the single rings for stats like like, etc, of a single rings bonuses. It just gives us something to work towards, and gives us more resson to grind items that become useless / redundant once passed mid game.
Trinkets that have all possible combinations could add increase the attack of the various trinket attacks by 1-10 with a combination of 2 of the trinkets with all trinkets combined, and increase debuffs by 1 second per level.
Catch is, to combine trinkets, one would have to use perfect trinkets. And increasing Trinket Level would ONLY be possible once all the trinket has all Trinket abilities added. So one would require 2 of all trinkets, those that have " Perfect " variations would be required to have 2, and those without variations would still require 2. So 2 of each, just to make a level 1 complete Trinket. And to make a level 2 complete Trinket, it would require 4, and so on. Gives use to all those trinket drops that are useless / worthless, and again gives us something else to grind endlessly.
As for Weapons and Boots, even other " clothing / armour " items, enable infinate upgrades and the ability to add multiple additional buffs. Again, this is not an online multiplayer style game where we compete against other players. And it will give use to many items and encourage grinding for specific items for upgrades. It won't detract from the game at all, but will encourage more grinding for more and more improvements
Also adding various imbued buffs / debuffs with gems that get stronger the more gems / levels are added also can not detract from the game, but actually adds to it. And will give use to the various gems as well. And will send people back to grinding Ginger Island Volcano for Cinder shards to do upgrades.
E.G. Ability to upgrade Weapons infinitely could add 1 attack for each level.
Infinite speed upgrades which add 1 sp after the initial 3 grinds
Ability to add different gems to add various other buffs infinitely
Ability to add more than 1 enchant, which would obviously significantly increase for every new enchant added. E.G. Ability to add multiple enchants like Bug Killer / Crusader / Vampiric, etc. Costs would increase with each new enchant added.
For example, adding sp to boots would enable faster movement. Increasing the speed on boots would make you move faster, not just attack faster.
Increasing def would reduce damage, meaning one could work to having armor which reduces damage to 1, if they put in the time and effort to farm all those cinder shards / prismatic shards / Galaxy souls.
Each upgrade could cost more gems and Cinder Shards / Prismatic shards / Galaxy Souls.
Once someone has basically finished everything, there isn't really anything to do, except grind for more cash. Enabling infinite upgrades would give everyone something to do, without detracting from any aspect of the game, and would also give newer players a way to make grinding dungeons slightly easier, which would encourage more dungeon crawling early on.
The wilderness farm map suggest players starting a new game do infact want to grind more mobs. But it gets tedious without anything to work towards at all. But infinite equipment upgrades gives use to all those gems, and would 100% encourage grinding The Volcano, as well as generally grinding the hell out of skull cavern.
Another example would be it would increase luck, which is a varient that would enable many to eventually be able to farm harder to obtain items more consistently. EVENTUALLY, as to grind the necessary Cinder shards / prismatic shards / galaxy souls would take more and more and more time, more and more and more grinding.
Enabling Tools to have multiple enchantment. Becauee why not. Not like by the time one has finished all mastery that most enchantments actually mean anything on them. Gives us something else to grind towards
