Reversed Wood Chipper

Hey everyone! @PorkChop here again! Just had another cool game suggestion. What if there was a reversed wood chipper. P.S. if you don't know what a wood chipper is, it turns hardwood into a couple pieces of regular wood. So the idea of this, "Reversed Wood Chipper," is that it almost compacts like 3-8 pieces of wood into a pieces of hardwood. I know in the 1.5 there is going to be another way to get hardwood, but this is just a thought of maybe how. Tell me you thoughts below. Thanks and Bye!!!

See... I get that some things in Stardew aren't how things work in the real world, but this one is out there. I'm not sure it makes sense to be able to glue a bunch of wood together and have it become a larger, solid piece of wood that you can build with. From a purely game-design point of view, it could make sense, sure, but not from a realism POV.

Hmmm, you'd have to buy a kit to re-glue and fasten the Wood to Hardwood from Robin, which would be flat-packed and you'd have to pick it up from downstairs. Occasionally there would be a piece missing and you'd always end up with an extra Allen wrench and a page of wordless instructions once you were done. Eventually you'd end up with a chest of unstackable Allen wrenches of slightly different sizes and qualities which you'd have to ship back to Sweden at yearly intervals for 50g.

Nahhh, it'd never work...

I agree with the two comments above. I do kind of like my game to be as realistic as possible (excluding the obviously magical parts of the valley) and a machine shredding the hardwood into smaller pieces of wood makes more sense than gluing them back together.
