Return Sceptre in Mobile HELP

I play on mobile iOS on my iPad Pro latest edition version 18.1. I paid 2 million for the Return Sceptre but it refuses to work on mobile. I have played for years on PC with no problems. How does the sceptre work on mobile? I hope I did not just lose 2 million on something I can’t use. I’ve researched this but no luck. Please help. Suggestions welcomed. Thanks. This must be a huge bug or I’m doing something wrong.

Have you used the warp totems before? The return scepter works the same way, select in inventory and then tap on your character. You might have to zoom in or out a bit to jerk the character from just moving.
