Return Scepter - Choose a farmhouse

By the time you’re getting a spare 2 Mil to give Krobus, you’ve probably got a foothold on Ginger Island. Sure, it’s 10 to 30 mins tops, to jump from your valley farm, to your island farm, if your totems or Obelisks are optimised, but when you’re running between your chests at 1:30am, after planting and watering 500 Starfruit, you’re suddenly wishing you’d had a quicker way from the Volcano, or the Skull Cavern, to your bed on the other island.

Enter, the option to choose between your farmhouses, when selecting the action button, with the Return Sceptre in hand.

The button is pressed, ‘select a home’ ‘Stardew Valley’ ‘Ginger Island’ ‘Cancel’. Obviously, time freezes as you choose. Pick a farm, and off you go, to the front door of choice, making it to sleep for 1:58am.
 
Maybe it's easier to introduce another late game "Island Return Scepter" - so one for each farm. I think the scepter is already one of the mightiest items in the game, and I always buy it way before the obelisks.
Alternatively - and closer to your suggestion - there could be a kind of enhancement to the original scepter like for rings at the vulcano top.

I really like the idea to upvalue the island farm. An "Island Return Scepter" of some kind could help doing so.
On the other hand, all items should have some kind of value balance.

My solution was to place one mini obelisk next to the arrival spot for the return sceptre, and put the other next to all the big teleport obelisks. It's of course not perfect, but close enough for me as I'm not min-maxing every second of the game.
