iOS Restarted iPad, lost progress

Helping my daughter with her game. Recently restarted iPad and when she got back on she was asked to load local or icloud. She thinks she clicked the wrong thing and the game loaded to close to the beginning of her progress. I read some previous threads and could see that the game does save progress locally. We found some files, but I don't know how to load them. I'm not the best with tech stuff these days so you may have to hold my hand some to get it done.
