Renaming

[Springdale Farms]

Currently I can not find a SAFE way to rename my world or children. As in safe last night I was following the wiki instructions and ended up compressing my 6 years of in game progress. Games can not read compressed files apparently I almost had a heart attack because it appeared I had lost all my progress. Thanks to a family member who happens to be a tech expert we were able to undo what I had did but still with a few kinks in the road. There should be a safe way to rename children, your world, your own name. I propose a settings button on the title screen that along with other functions can perform the renaming function.

Another thing... I named my farm Springdale but the game when naming your farm doesn’t mention anything about a character limit. So my farm is now named SPRINGDAL unfortunately . This is the reason I attempted to change the farm name, and because of this one game inconvenience I about lost 130+ hours of progress. Pls fix this, make it easier. Or put better instructions preferably a video on how to do this specifically on IOS. Thanks.

Being able to rename yourself, your farm, your kids, pet, or horse would certainly be a nice edition to the game. Maybe these things could be handled by Lewis who already takes care of things like divorces or splitting money in multiplayer.

I know it's too late for this time, but if you're ever making changes to a file in a way you aren't familar with, it's good practice to make a copy of that file and make the edit there. That way, if you mess up, no harm done. And if it works, you now have a backup of your save.
