I have googled and tried to find how to do this on my own, apologies if this is a dumb question.
I'm on PC, 1.6, and a long time ago I played around with SVE and some other mods but removed them all and now only play with mods that change the aesthetics, not gameplay. On my old savefile however, there are two Spacecore files and a JsonAssets folder. If I delete them they just regenerate every time I start the game and I can see remnants of mods I removed in game that I don't see on my newer save files. (Example- when checking the Special Orders board, there's a checkmark showing if I've already completed one of the special orders.)
Is there anyway to permanently remove these things? I tried resetting content files through Steam but that didn't work. Thanks in advance!
