Hello, I'm new to modding and I've been pretty careful but I recently took a chance on an older mod so that I could add more pets than my 1 lonely cat. The dog I added got stuck to my cat and it changed the pet name I had to the new one I inputted for the dog. I tried removing the mods (the animal mod & the creator's framework mod) but all it did was remove the mod's skin for the dog (not the actual dog) and the box you adopt them from. I tried verifying and repairing my game files and nothing changed. I can add a mod to unstick them, but how would I be able to completely get rid of these changes if I need to?
I'm running the game on my windows laptop & I bought the game from the Microsoft store a few weeks ago. Here's my latest SMAPI log: https://smapi.io/log/e0cb56b9aa8642deae8839988c1db986 , but it doesn't include the mod since I ran the game without them.
Please let me know if I should share something else that might help, thank you!
