Regarding adding mods to a new save file

If I wanted to add SVE and Ridgeside Village to a farm and play with them(I've basically exhausted the vanilla game at this point), should I add it to a new save or my current perfection farm?
I don't want to go through all the vanilla content again, but I'm worried about corruption issues if I revert a modded perfection farm back to vanilla
