Reach perfection before 1.6 update?

Hello, fellow SDV community! I have a curiosity question! I made it to 97% perfection, before the update. Is it possible to just not update the game and make it to perfection? Or just take the loss of perfection percentage, and update now? I tried so hard to reach perfection before the update and fell shy, now I’m just kinda sad my perfection percentage will drop way down , with the update? I haven’t played all day and it’s killing me! My husband plays on PC and has gotten all the fun updates. What is a lady to do?

are you playing on switch? if you are then you have to manually update it, (at least I did), so you should be fine

I actually had to figure out how to update it, and when I first got on I was confused why it was the same lol

I am on Switch! I want the new content, but really wanted to reach perfection beforehand. Ugh. Decisions. lol

Yes absolutely, just turn off automatic updates for whatever platform you're on.

For pc that's within steam/gog, for mobile it's in whatever app store/playstore you use, and for consoles I believe it's game specific.

Then you can manually update or just turn automatic updates back on whenever you've hit perfection
