Does the outcome of re-rolling trinkets depend entirely on rng or is it pre-determined by seed?
Meaning should I reset the day if I don't roll a prismatic frog?

In my previous save, i used to reset the day a lot, until i got best grade trinkers. Especially with frog eggs, that i wanted both a void and a prismatic one...

Since resetting the day, yielded different results for me, i think it is safe to say, it's RNG!

It's randomly determined, or at least, isn't determined in the same was as other 'seeded' machines operate. You'll be able to just reset the day over and over to conserve iridium bars if you so wish.
