Re-doing heart events, remixed mines

Couple of questions for people more familiar with the game code than me, if may engage your grey matter for a minute.

- Any way to re-do heart events? I accidentally gave Leah the creepy answer in her 2 :heart: so didn't get the art exhibition cut scene, and also to get the other exclusive furiture from Penny's 14 :heart:.

- Also, remixed mines rewards. My current save has standard mines, completed. I was browsing the checkup tool and noticed that the remixed mines for the seed I'm on has something I need in one of the reward chests. I know there's something with dynamic seeds, any way to apply that in this case that changes absolutley nothing else about the file?

Awesome, thankyou. :cool: I think I might have done a save file edit a loooong time ago to switch professions, before the Statue of Uncertainty was added. And I'll probably backup twice just to be on the safe side, I've got thousands of hours on this save. :toothy:

Just realized that the link that I gave didn't have the Penny's 14 heart event ID. ConcernedApe made that post before 14-heart events was added to the game.
You can try the Penny event ID from here. I can't guarantee if it's correct, but it looks legit.

Shart already gave advice on heart events so I can for dynamic seeding:
Yes, you can get other remixed mines rewards by using dynamic seeding and multiplayer (just dynamic seeding won't change the fact that you've already opened the chest on a respective mine level)
No dynamic seeding will always alter other parts of the save file, you can't change the way the game calculates one seed related calculation without affecting the others with dynamic seeding, that would require editing the code to a considerable extent and I would say to just spawn in the items at that point.
However, it's not like what the seed effects matters much, it won't affect anything you've already done and basically only affects what you wouldn't know otherwise/wouldn't matter to you (like geode loot which doesn't really matter as it's all balanced with a large sample size).
You can also just dynamic seed back to your original seed once you're done, just go to your current file and write down the number after your farm name, that's the seed of the file, then just dynamic seed back to that once done with the tools and weapons.
Due to some weird relations/limits in the code, you actually can't get all variations that you should be able to of chest loot, depending on what you've already gotten, you may need to use multiple seeds.
You will need to use a seedfinder (they are NOT user friendly and require at least a passable knowledge of C# or know someone who does) if you don't want to just brute force it.

If you don't know how to actually dynamic seed I will guide you through that, just reply that you don't and I will give you a little walkthrough.

Ahh I did wonder about that, how it was possible to re-get chests I'd already opened, so the multiplayer thing makes sense.

I think I might put it on the back burner for now, but if I suddenly feel brave I'll let you know. 😆

You nunderstand why I was tempted. 😆 If I do end up fiddling with the dynamic seeds there's a couple of weapons that are reward-chest-only so I'll probably go for the lot across multiple seeds. In for a penny and all that.

Please don’t fish for work boots 🙏

It’s such a horrid chance just dynamic seed them, I got them in under 5 minutes on my save.

Unfortunately, there's no built-in way to replay heart events in Stardew Valley once they've occurred. As for the remixed mines rewards, you'll need to start a new game with the remixed mines layout selected to access those rewards.

I know. I actually found them on another save, a long time ago... I'm not fishing *just* for them, and I've got other ongoing personal quests running - because y'know, completionist here. 😆 I'm waiting for the next green rain day this summer to divorce Emily so I can collect the other spouse portraits, view all cutscenes, and partner everyone at the Flower Dance because for some reason I want to do that.

(I'm waiting for the green rain day so I can claim temporary madness as reason for the divorce and memory wipe... I need a narrative so I feel a bit less guilty. :sweat: )

Ah ok fair, I wouldn't recommend fishing specifically for work boots on my worst enemy
