Those are special weeds on the forest farm. They always drop mixed seeds.

I don't think so, sir. Those are probably fiddlehead ferns, which can normally only be foraged in the Secret Woods, but are also available on the Forest Farm map (the map shown in the screenshot). It is usually difficult to forage a lot of them, but the Forest Farm makes it a bit easier.

The special weeds you are referring to also spawn in the Forest Farm map, but since the OP mentioned ferns, I think he did gather them and knows what he is talking about.

Good call. I retract what I said about fiddlehead ferns (though those are findable on the Forest Farm map still) being the most likely culprit. After seeing the image posted by Magically Clueless, those absolutely must be the "special weed", though I'm not so sure the wiki (which that screengrab seems to be) is correct there. I get fiber or mixed seeds from special weeds.

Hmmr, could have sworn it had all Secret Woods forage. I know Morels and Chantrelles are available. Could have sworn I found a Fiddlehead too. I may be wrong.
