1.6 Update Racoon Quest Question

I've read the Wiki about the raccoon quests but I'm not sure that I have understood. Why do I get 5 mystery boxes, and not the next unshipped item from some of the quests?
I have collected all the golden walnuts and have not completed the shipping achievement. The next unshipped item is an emu egg. Why am I not getting an emu ostrich egg? Any suggestions please?

If the wiki is correct, and you're on quest 6+, you should be getting the next unshipped item rather than the 5 mystery boxes. There might be something missing from the wiki. Do you have an ostrich? Possibly the raccoon won't give you an item if you don't have the ability to get one yourself. That's just a guess, I don't know the reason.

I’m not sure what the raccoon quests have to do with the ostrich egg. I’m also not sure how you could have collected all the golden walnuts and not have the ostrich a
egg because I believe a GW is with the ostrich egg.

Yes I have an ostrich egg. No I don't have an ostrich. I haven't crafted the ostrich incubator because it is winter and I am waiting for spring. I haven't shipped the ostrich egg because it is the only one I have.

The wiki doesn't say I can't have one, it says it must be unshipped.

There are other unshipped items that I don't have, like radioactive ore. I'm getting mystery boxes from the quest, not an unshipped item. I don't understand why.

Well I didn’t realize that you received unshipped items from the raccoon shop after 6 quests. I will say there is no need to wait till spring to incubate the ostrich egg as the ostrich takes a bit of time to hatch.
