Not sure if this is truly a bug but wanted to mention it in case others had the same experience
Went to racoons and they requested dried chanterelles and white algae. I happened to have dried common mushrooms in my inventory and I noticed it wasn't greyed out like it normally would be if you couldn't give this item. On a whim I placed it in the chanterelles spot and it took it and changed the image sprite and description to "dried chanterelles"
Quest completed and proceeded normally - no other glitches/bugs resulting from this
