Question on Crab Pots

I just reached fishing level 10 and chose luremaster so I do not have to bait crab pots (which I could never figure out how to do). How will I know if I catch something in one of my pots? Do I have to retrieve them and then check them?

If there is something in the crab pot (and there is every morning!) it is floating over the pot.

Quirinea YOU MADE MY DAY! I visited several websites and they all said to right click the crab pot to bait it, but none said to be sure the bait was chosen on the task bar. I am now able to load the pots AND I changed my profession for 10gold in the sewers and was able to change my profession so now I don't even have to. I hope you have a great day, and that you visit these forums often, because I am bound to screw up again one day!!!

I've heard that once you get luremaster you need to remove and replace your pots for things to work.

If a crab pot has something in it, it'll have a little balloon over it telling you.

Personally, with bait being so cheap, I prefer the "Mariner" profession so that I get less trash and more lobster, though.
