Question about "any ore" and a multiplier combo of items

We had a few minor questions before we confirm our first try victory, family of four.

1a. One of our players had Cheese Press and Rancher which allowed her to sell animal products for +2 gold and also double the gold received when selling cow or goat's milk. So say a cow milk should fetch 2 gold, can she get 8 for that? :-)

1b. Follow-up question on this one - I assume that during the Season Phases' Shipping Bin icon effect that each of us can trade resources to that person - and she in turn could sell those resources.

1c. Taking that to an extreme, if somehow we all ended up with cow milk to trade using the shipping bin - I want to make sure that we could each trade all the milk we have to that one player for her to sell, because we assumed she could sell, receive, sell, receive, etc. (Whereas one might also interpret that she could only sell "once per Trading Bin icon" which would mean she could fill her inventory up by way of trade up to a maximum of 8 resources, then sell those 8.)

2. We had a number of cards tell us we could get specifically "any ore." Yet there was also mention elsewhere of getting (again specifically) an "available" ore. Can we assume "any" means any ore in the game regardless of availability/mine level; or does "any" also just mean any available ore?

3. We assumed "trade" does not necessarily mean the exchange of two things, but could also mean " to gift" meaning without receiving something back; is that correct?

Thank you in advance, I'll take my answer off the air. ;-)

I don't know the answer to if those sell benefits stack or the answer for question #2, but for the rest:

When the shipping bin icon is in effect, everyone can trade or sell as many different items as they want. Gifting is fine during that phase. And I think you'd definitely want to trade items to one person if they can sell them for more- that's part of why the trading mechanic exists!

#1a: I would believe that yes, they could be sold for 8 gold each. Main reasoning why:
-Rancher: "generate +2 gold when you sell them"
-Cheese Press: "double the gold received when you sell"

So, the action would be "Sell Milk" and "2 gold generated" then "+2 gold generated, total 4" and then you would "receive double of 4, thus 8"

Aka, you generate the gold then receive it *shrug*

#1b: Rules don't really clarify anything here, just simply states you can trade and sell. Gonna need Cole to answer that one imo. (But, since the wording is trade and sell, I would view that they can do either in any order and multiple times, i.e. you could dump 6 milk onto the cheese rancher, sell, and then dump another 2 and sell those as well. Otherwise it would say "trade then sell" or something of that sort).

Ftr, this was asked in another thread and someone gave basically the same answer I did, later on Cole answered one of the other questions and didn't contradict the answer, therefore it is probably correct *shrug*

#1c: Same as 1b.

#2: Normally word choice is a big deal in board games. The fact they use any and available for different things is material. Thus, "any" should mean ANY regardless of mine level.

#3. Basically, unless there's specific limits on number of trades or "unfair" trades, gifting is allowed. If it's not allowed then a trade limit needs to stated or a 1:1 trade ratio (of tiles), otherwise you can trade tiles 1 and 2 from player A to player B for tile 3. Then you trade tile 2 and 3 again (so that Player A had tiles 1 and 2 and now has 2, while player B had tile 3 and now has tiles 1 and 3, effectively gifting Tile 1 from A to B).

Aka, without a specific rule limiting trade, gifting allowed is "default" in such games. (Also, bonus, it is more similar to the video game, that you can just throw things to your squad from your inventory).
