PlayStation PS4 & PS5 multiplayer incompatible after update

i currently have two main issues

1) deleted game files are reappearing (noticed other gamers were having the same problem so i will not go into detail) version: v1.6.9 build 37 on the PS4

2) created a world with my partner while we both were on PS4. they switched to a PS5 recently and now my partner is unable to join the world. they no longer receive in-game invites at all. version: v1.6.9 build 37 on both the PS4 and PS5

I've also noticed the save file glitch. I hope the developers are actively working on fixing all of these issues. It sucks to wait eight freaking months for an update and have it release in such a sorry state. Now we're stuck waiting yet again, this time for patches and fixes -_-
