Problem getting to a hidden golden walnut **SPOILERS**

The wiki says to: "Go to the right from the Parrot Express' Farm location. You will find a hidden path - following the path to its destination will bring you to a walnut bush." There is also a picture of the path. I can see the "weeds" that lead to the Walnut. However, I can not go the way the path leads. I can take maybe one step into the dark toward the path I see. I've tried using the axe, hoe, pick and scythe and nothing will let me go along the obvious path. I CAN go north of the path for a while but seem to get stuck there as well.

What am I missing here?

Try using your fishing rod, it will show you where you are.

The path is not blocked, you just have to follow it exactly.

I figured it out by going at night and wearing my glow ring. Totally by accident.
