Prehistoric scapula

Help! I have everything I need for the museum collection but the prehistoric scapula. I am playing on an iPad and in the fourth year in the winter time. Any suggestions as to where to find it would be appreciated. I am getting very frustrated looking for it.

Oof, that's a tough one - unfortunately the easier ways are specific to version 1.5 which iPad doesn't have yet.

On mobile the only places you can find it are artifact spots in Cindersap Forest or (much more rarely) the town. However, if you're willing to cheese it a little, there is a way to increase your odds.
Basically, at the start of each day, go check all the artifact spots in Cindersap Forest. If you get it, great! If you don't get it, reset the day by exiting to the main menu, and this time do not hoe up any of the spots. (Since you're on mobile, you don't even have to do this at the start of the day - just make a backup before going to the forest, and then swap to that backup instead of resetting the whole day). The next day, most of the artifact spots will still be there, but what's inside them will have changed, so you can do the same thing - check them all, and if you don't get it, reset to a backup and wait till the day after.

if you arrived on Ginger Island, check the bone nodes in the litte quarry, they are full of bones and sometimes there are scapulas!
