Windows [Possible Spoilers!] Item disappearing when combined in chest

Hello! So I have noticed that when I head back to my farm from Ginger Island, if I put a dragon's tooth in a chest that already has one in it, it disappears.

I'm playing on PC with the latest version of the game, single-player in English with minimal QOL mods.

Anybody else experiencing this?
