Please give as much information as you can when reporting an issue with your game!

When reporting an issue, make a new thread or follow up on another thread if you're having a similar problem.

A template you can follow:

  • explain the issue (including any pattern you noticed about when it happens);
  • full error text (if any);
  • what OS you are using;
  • in-game language;
  • single-player or multiplayer;
  • if you're using controller or keyboard/mouse;
  • your version number;
  • anything else you think might be relevant;
  • please upload your save file!
How to find your save file/error log:
  • On Windows, press the windows key + R and enter %appdata%/stardewvalley/errorlogs
  • On Mac, from your desktop click "Go" in the menubar (in the top right), then "Go to folder..." at the bottom of that menu. Enter ~/.config/StardewValley/ErrorLogs/

How to find your version number:
  • Click the question mark on the title screen
  • The version number is the number shown at the bottom left. Please copy the whole line! (ex. v.1.6.9 'beta' build 24232)
