It's best to reinstall the game, as many vanilla files appear to be broken.
You can also update SMAPI to version 4.2.1 and update 45 of your mods, but that's more of a side task.
I recommend reinstalling Stardew Valley from GOG, or getting it on Steam for easier file verification.
