Please help! I need a solution!

I am facing a big problem in-game. I use Ginger Island farm for Fairy Rose with Beehive-patterns and i riddled the ground next to them, with Iridium sprinklers. I run 12 sprinklers and left some space, for plants that grow better near water without needing you to wet them manually. It is a little paradise, which i leave for days alone, then suddenly teleport in for collecting the goods and getting the cash. We are talking about 288 tiles for crops alone and 3 formations of 44 beehouses each.

When some in-game days pass, though... Debris spawns. No, not simple, good old debris, like the one in the main farm! It is that grass-looking, hard wild plant, reminding of aloe vera distantly or something. It appears randomly and even though in very small numbers, yet it wreaks havoc upon my land! It destroys an entire beehouse, together with the stone floor it used to stand upon and sometimes, 2 or more if i am unlucky enough. The starfruits that i grow and are expensive, sometimes disappear (~5 to 10 units) and this !@#$ weed, is all that remains, upon my poor plants! Worst of all, it can and DID! Destroy... One of my Iridium Sprinkler, bought from Krobus, for 10.000g!!! That !@#$ weed destroyed it utterly, together with the stone floor, like completely!

What can i do? This is jeopardizing my plantation and beekeeping! Please help? PLEASE HELP

Have you tried the Golden Clock? I believe that's the item that stops weeds from spawning on the farm. Should work on Ginger Island Farm too.

With the amount of beehouses and crops you boast to be harvesting, 10k gold should be very trivial.

I am 8 millions away from Golden Clock, alas... :'(

And the gold is trivial indeed, but Krobus selling it every Friday only and in limited quanitty, is the issue here... Together with ruining my production line (bought 288 seed packs and was left dumbstruck with the ruined tiles, where it used to stand!

I've had the same problem in the past but it's no longer a problem because I do what FilthyGorilla and Ereo suggest.

Always go to Ginger on Monday to clear new debris spawns.
Go to Ginger every third day or so.

The second bit is good for me anyway as my Farm there is mostly Blueberries and Tree Fruit so they should be visited for collection at twice a week or so. Plus I still don't have a Tiger Hat!!!

One more thing, you can't put the Golden Clock on Ginger and if you put it out on your Farm, it doesn't affect the Ginger Farm. Check in at Ginger Monday and one more time every week.

I think they spawn on Mondays and they shouldn’t spawn directly under your things. So checking every Monday and removing anything new that spawned should help.
In 1.6 there is a bug where debris can spawn on paths then spread around which I'm not sure has been patched yet

Lost a couple hundred machines from mass sleeping and the weeds just wiping my cindersap and around joja mart where debris can spawn

Now that you mention it, i found a small wood debris and few stone debris, upon my railroad tree orchard pathway before, but didn't pay any attention to it and cleared it. I saw a few pieces of the tiles got dismantled before i cleared the debris and were picked up in inventory; post clearing, i placed them down again.

I assumed it was due to Linus' movement, since NPC walking can "break" things, though. Little had i known...

This needs to be fixed ASAP!

NPCs walking no longer breaks things unless there's nowhere else to "push it". In 1.6 (I think it was 1.6.5), it was added that NPCs will move objects, not break them.

I agree, it's wholly a headache and really ruins a lot of the potential of decorating off farm (ginger island farm and the main farm can be protected with the golden clock but nothing can stop off farm weeds).

I try to hit up Qi's quest board every Monday to pick up the week's quest, and on the way I do a loop around the farm and take care of any weeds before they have a chance to spread. That said, I don't always remember, and I've lost some crops that way. No sprinklers yet, but a number of crops.

A big thanks to everybody! That monday cleaning, actually saved my stuff! As far as i can see, nothing got destroyed, after that!
If you need a helpful reminder so you don't forget, you should get the To-Dew mod and make an item that repeats every Monday (or whatever day of the week) to remind you to go over there. I find that helps a lot for reminding me what day I should harvest Coffee and Ancient Fruit. Or remind the days that Robin will not be in the shop *shakes fist at people having lives outside their work*

Weeds seem to love bee houses. I've had a few destroyed on my farm by overnight weed growth, even though I always keep weeds cleaned up. Whenever I get that morning message about the weeds, I head straight for the beehives to see if they're all still there.
