Please guide me?

Can somebody kind enough, teach me how to take photos from inside the game? I myself took one or two, some time ago, but i already forgot and am actually unfamiliar with the full functionalities of the feature...

Can you take a photo of the entire area and watch it from above, as if from a plane flying low? And how?

Can you take a photo of your character and the nearest surroundings, as if slightly zoomed in? And how?

The full map photo is taken from inside the Stardew Valley game. It's located at the far right of the overlay menu which you bring up when looking at your Character stats or Villager levels or Crafting. Click on the tab at the right and scroll all the way to the very bottom. In there you will see an option to Take Screenshot.

Take one!

And there should be a shortcut button to the folder where they're saved on your computer. Click that and it'll open up and have a look at your picture. Take more! You can take a pic of each map from the Cellar of the Farmhouse to each section of Ginger Island to Volcano and Skull Cavern levels.

To take more zoomed in pictures, I usually use Snipping Tool (built into Windows) or the Screenshot shortcut on my Macs (Shift + Command + 4). Both give you the option to take a picture of a small section of the screen using a crosshair to drag from one corner of a rectangle to the other.

Just to add onto Lew's comment, something I see people get confused on is the percentage scale next to the camera button (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), those DON'T impact the zoom of an image, just the quality, a 25% image will have far less definition than a 100% one which captures every pixel like it is in the game but those also take more storage space.

You probably won't be able to upload anything above a 25% sized image on the forums either, there is a really low max file size here unfortunately
