Issue Player can't connect [Mac]

Me and 2 of my friends recently started modding SV, we were having fun for the past week, but suddenly, one of the two couldn't connect. We've updated her files, uninstalled and reinstalled both SV and SMAPI. At first I thought it was just a connection error because us 2 PC players were fine, but the mac user couldn't join. running through her error log, it said "[game] An error occurred in the base update loop: IOException: The file '/Users/(friend's name)/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS/StardewValley' already exists."

We're running 1.5.6

Here's the error log, please help if you can.
