I said no to my pet on accident. I thought another one would be offered. I was wrong. Can I get the pet back without restarting?

If you haven't saved your game process, just exit, and restart the game, then you'd get another chance (Don't say no this time!). Or you have to earn enough money to buy an Adopt Lisence to Marnie (it'd take a lot of time).

If you're using a switch it is impossible, you will not get an option for a new pet. I think maybe if you're on PC you might be able to edit the save file?

I edited the save file. Should I just wait and see what happens. It was edited on day 21 I'm in day 23.

If you’re on version 1.6, Marnie will offer pets either when your first pet loves you or in year two.

This, you'll have to go without the pet for a year but that's not a huge deal and 1.6 is still a month away for most platforms so you could probably get closer to that date by then anyway
