PC [Oversight?] Tiger Trout Population "Growing to Unsustainable Level"

One of the fish that Demetrius can ask that the player cull due to their population getting out of hand is the tiger trout. To me, this doesn't make much sense, seeing as the tiger trout is described as "a rare hybrid trout that cannot bear offspring of its own," and this is even reflected by how tiger trout behave in a fish pond. While they do still produce roe, they're the only fish whose pond population cannot increase on its own, so the player has to manually stock the pond if they want to get a fully-stocked tiger trout pond.

They're a hybrid... and if both of its parents are plentiful, it would be possible for them to be plentiful too, don't you think?

It says in their description, though, that they're supposed to be rare. I decided to do some googling, and this is true. In real life, they are rare, and their survival rate past the fry stage is very limited. I bring this up because CA seems to want them to be true to their real life counterparts, hence the special way they work in fish ponds. I just can't help but read this as Demetrius telling us to go out and cull a bunch of already rare fish. Sturgeons aren't among the fish that can prompt in this quest, and they're described as having a "dwindling population" in-game. Not to mention, since they're sterile to begin with, I doubt that an increase in their population would be overly detrimental.

Fair. Honestly, I think it would be better to not have them be an option.

Yes, seems like an oversight since Tiger Trouts are sterile and cannot reproduce (as is acknowledged by the Game tooltip as well as the fact they are the only fish not to reproduce in a Pond). And since their parents (brown+brook trout) do not exist in the game, the Quest to cull them due to "overpopulation" is nonsensical. I assume it is just an oversight where the Quest simply inserts <random common fish this season> without an exclusion for Tiger Trout.

Yes, it really only could be such an oversight, imho, especially since the rest of the game acknowledges that they don't reproduce... and without reproduction it is really hard to overpopulate.
